Basic use
- Open Catalog Pantry Explorer from the Chrome toolbar to display the Side Panel.
- Under Settings (設定) → Catalogs (カタログ), select the Catalog you want to use. Download an official PDF only when needed and only by an explicit action.
- Use Edit Catalog (カタログを編集) to select a PDF on your device. The original PDF and rendered images are not sent to the developer's server.
- In the Viewer (ビューワー), search for a model number and open a reviewed page or location.
- When needed, explicitly open an official search or product page and save a clip or note locally.
When a PDF does not match
A reviewed index is enabled only when the Catalog edition and PDF fingerprint match. If the PDF is another edition, a revised file, or an edited copy, the index remains disabled and the Extension does not guess a location.
Check the official Catalog and edition, then select the PDF again. You can still view a PDF that does not match, but the reviewed model locations will not be available.
Permissions used
The Extension does not use persistent host permissions, content scripts, or background crawling.
Delete local data
- Delete individual clips and history entries, or clear them together, under Settings (設定) → Saved items (保存・記録).
- To remove all local data including Provider and Catalog settings, clear Chrome's Extension data or uninstall the Extension.
- The original PDF and rendered images are not saved to
chrome.storage.local; they remain in memory only while the Panel and Worker are active.
Supported environment
Chrome 114 or later is supported. An administrator may restrict Side Panel or downloads on a managed Chrome installation. Other Chromium-based browsers have not been verified as supported environments.
